Hafnium Nitride is powder, cubic structure, melting point 3310 ℃, it is quite stable, but easily by aqua regia, concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrogen fluoride acid corrosion. Reaction generated directly by the hafnium and nitrogen at 900 ℃, it is the important part of refractory compounds hafnium alloy.

HfN microhardness 16 gpa. has the NaCl type cubic crystal system, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, thermal shock, low density and hardness of the superior performance of new ceramic materials, mainly used in high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and aerospace and aviation, etc.  We adopt new process synthesis production of hafnium with high purity, uniform particle size distribution, larger than surface area, high surface activity, low density and so on.
